Chicago Botanic Garden 2009 Plants of Concern Workshop - South Holland, IL

April 5th, 2009 9:30 AM   -   3:00 PM
Plants of Concern engages citizen scientists to monitor the Chicago Wilderness region’s rarest plants, assess trends in plant populations, and provide important data used to conserve our rapidly declining floral heritage.

Want to Monitor Rare Plants in NE Illinois, SE Wisconsin, or NW Indiana? Then please join us for one of our 2009 Plants of Concern Workshops. Receive training in Plants of Concern monitoring techniques, talk with seasoned monitors, or refresh your skills for the new season. We ask any monitors who have never been to a workshop to attend.

Registration is required. Bring a lunch to the workshop; morning refreshments will be served. Note: Four workshop opportunities are offered but volunteers only need to attend one workshop. For more information, visit http://www.plantsofconcern.org
