Restoring Midewin National Tallgrass Prairie

Join The Nature Conservancy’s scientists on a nature tour along Prairie Creek Woods Trail, into the Midewin National Tallgrass Prairie, and discover Buttonbush Pond. Learn about invasive species and participate in restoration activities for the first national tallgrass prairie in the country. Participants should dress appropriately and bring lunch. Ages 9 and up. This includes an outdoor walking tour, a stewardship activity and a nature activity(4 hours). Capacity: 25.
