her research, she has learned that mushrooms are the ecological “canaries in the coal mine” and are important indicators of an ecosystem’s health. You’ll learn the basics of fungal ecology and collect specimens in the beautiful woods of the Garden. Then move to the plant science lab and use microscopes to examine the fungi more
