Neighborhood Science

See the science that's done at a university and chat with several budding scientists. Learn about the world around us and how you can participate in exploring its inner-workings. Chemistry students plan to showcase a Scanning Tunneling Microscope, which can directly view atoms, and will have a Chem Demo Sow. The Society of Physics Students will host Fly Day '09. Bring your kites, boomerangs, Frisbees, or use one of ours. Then come see the Physics Demo Show. The Green Cycle Group will have a recycling relay. Meet a NASA Solar System Ambassadoror learn about Astrophotography. Visit the NanoDays exhibit and make your own BuckyBall! There will even be a "Science in Art" Exhibit, and maybe a few surprises! People of all ages are invited, families are encouraged to attend! FREE (Level 2) Parking !!!
