Outer Planets of the Solar System

April 9th, 2009 7:00 PM
NASA/ JPL Ambassador Jim Kovac presents a multi-media program showing how, beyond the Asteroid Belt, one enters the realm of Jupiter and its amazing Galilean moons - Io, Europa, Ganymeade, and Callisto. The stage is set for further exploration to the ice giants, Uranus and Neptune. Uranus shows evidence of a catastrophic past - a planet tipped on its side. Neptune, at the edge of the Solar System, has a dynamic atmosphere and a mysteriously active moon.
