Find A Scientist! is a unique online database that helps educators find and connect with local scientific and engineering experts. These volunteers are committed to sharing their knowledge to enliven and enlighten science learning through hands-on experiments and demonstrations, accessible resources and materials, and mentoring, The goal is to engage students in the wonder of science and inspire the next generation of scientists and engineers by giving them the opportunity to have close-up experiences with real scientists. Classroom teachers and informal science educators are encouraged to browse the database and connect with one or more scientists and engineers.
