The Elgin Public Museum of Natural History and Anthropology is located In Lords Park on Elgin’s east side. In existence for over 100 years, the Museum focuses on the natural history of Illinois. The Museum provides educational programming for pre-school through senior citizen age groups as well as numerous family events throughout the year. Touching on Traditions, a multi-cultural exhibit is on display during the holiday season. The Museum is located in a park that also has a small zoo and aquatics center.
