The Illinois Engineering Council is a voluntary, not-for-profit organization whose mission includes:
→ Improving the image of engineers.
→ Monitoring legislation, regulations, and court actions which affect the engineering profession.
→ Serving as a communications channel among member organizations, and where appropriate, to and from the engineering community as a whole.
→ Promoting engineering educations through programs, activities, and mentoring of students at all grade levels.
→ Providing opportunities for ongoing career management information for the engineer.
→ Representing Engineers on all matters of professional and public concern.
