Civil Air Patrol is a volunteer civilian auxiliary of the United States Air Force. Civil Air Patrol, Inc. is also a federally chartered 501 ©(3) corporation. CAP focuses on three main missions: (1)Aerospace Education-to CAP members, middle and elementary schools; (2)the Cadet Program for young adults ages 12-21; and (3)Emergency Services-offering airborne and ground Search & Rescue, disaster relief and homeland security services to local communities.
