The Society of Women Engineers stimulates women to achieve full potential in careers as engineers and leaders, expands the image of the engineering profession as a positive force in the quality of life, and demonstrates the value of diversity.

The Chicago Regional Section of the Society of Women Engineers, with about 400 members, is one of the largest of the Society’s sections. The Chicago Regional Section covers all of the Chicagoland area – including Rockford and some of Northwest Indiana. The Society of Women Engineers is divided into Regions – we are part of Region H. If you would like to find a section in your region, visit the SWE National webpage – they have a great map.
